Pacific Dance Presents

Dance The Night Away 2024

We have so much to Celebrate this year!

In addition to the great weekly training our dancers have enjoyed, we have lots of opportunities with fun Master Classes, Acro Workshops, Ballet Intensives and Summer Workshops.

The PD Competition Groups and PD Elite Company have earned several high score and overall wins and we are so proud of them as they compete this summer at Nationals.

A special Thank You!! goes out to all our families that have trusted us with your dancer’s training. We also want to welcome all our new families.  From our tiniest dancers and beginners to our beautiful seniors.  We look forward to continuing lasting friendships, performances and our community here at Pacific Dance.

Please sit back and enjoy the performance.  Your dancers have worked hard and are excited to perform for you this evening.

With Love,

Lori Murphy

Director/Pacific Dance

Senior Shout Out

Lily Bretana

Lily started dancing when she was 3 years old and has been doing dance competitions since she was 10. She will attend Scripps College in the fall and major in English or Art History, with the hopes of going to law school after undergrad and becoming an intellectual property attorney in the future.

Siena Lee

I've been dancing for six years, and I discovered my love of dance through k-pop. I wanted to learn the choreographies my favorite idols were performing, and when my mom found Pacific Dance, it was a perfect fit. I'm going to be majoring in Undeclared (still deciding which college to attend), and I'm excited to continue dancing in the future. I wouldn't be where I am today without the classes that continue to be the highlight of my week, and Pacific Dance will always be my home.

JJ, we've loved watching you dance - from age 2 to 18! It's been fun and amazing to see you develop your talent!

We love you! Mama and Dada

Hannah Malang

Hannah is a senior at Laguna Beach High School.  She loves to dance with a passion for hiphop dancing. She's been dancing with Dance Company and Pacific Dance for over 3 years.  She plans to go to SDSU and join their college team dance and do choreography on the side.

Hannah, I'm so very proud of you and your achievements!  I love you and keep dancing! -Love Mom

Ava Olsen

Ava’s been dancing since she was 3 years old at Pacific Dance. Despite an injury that kept Ava from competing this season, she has continued being a substitute teacher. She plans on attending Cal State Fullerton majoring in kinesiology and dancing along the way. Ava hopes to be a Physical Therapist.

Kaili Hellewell

I started dancing at the age of two.  I have been with Pacific Dance for the majority of my dance career where I have been on the Hip Hop PG team.  I also dance at Portola High School.  I have had the opportunity to be a student choreographer as well as having two of my solo dances showcased.  Dance has been my life for as long as I can remember.   I am attending Arizona State University in the fall where I will study fashion design and psychology.   I plan on dancing in college to pursue a minor in dance. Even with four major leg surgeries since 2020, I keep on dancing as a creative outlet to maintain my physical and mental health.

Kylie Sun

Kylie started her first ballet class and recital at the age of 5.  She took a few classes a week through the years and it wasn't until she was 12 that she discovered her passion for dance and joined Performing Group.  I love how she can express her feelings through the art of dance.  This year, she is in PDE and has developed many friendships with her friends and teachers.
