Lori Murphy has been
a teacher at The Irvine School of Dance since 1985. She has had the pleasure of owning Pacific Dance since 1994.
As a professional dancer her credits include: dancing aboard the Azure Seas
Cruise Ship, Disneyland, The Elvira Show at Knott's Halloween Haunt, and various industrials at the LA Mart, for Pacific Bell, Nordstrom, May Co. and Saks Fifth Avenue. She also performed for the Orange County
Performing Arts Center's Community education program.
Lori earned her MFA in the teaching of dance at UCI during which she was
chosen to choreograph for the Chancellor's inauguration ball. She has taught at various community colleges and studios in LA and Orange Counties and enjoys teaching dancers from age 3 to 93.
Her emphasis is on building strong technical dancers who are prepared to meet
the challenges in the ever changing dance world and on helping kids to enjoy dance and have a great time in class.
